Making a Difference at Christmas

If you're looking for a way to make a difference in someone's life during Christmas, please consider participating in our annual "Making a Difference at Christmas" event.

“Making a Difference at Christmas” is all about ensuring that individuals with disabilities and special needs receive Christmas gifts. All businesses, churches, and civic groups are encouraged to participate to help make the season as merry as possible for those with disabilities and special needs.

you can help!

Businesses, churches, and civic groups can help us achieve our goal of providing Christmas gifts by sponsoring a tree in their office/location and encouraging individuals to select a card from the tree. Each card contains a gift idea that will go towards benefiting individuals with life-long disabilities without families or those who have families with lower socioeconomic circumstances who without your support may not receive Christmas gifts.

  • Individuals will also have the opportunity to contribute financial donations of $1 or more-- these donations will go directly towards purchasing gifts for disabled individuals.

  • In addition, you have opportunities to be directly involved by “adopting” a residential home of 4 or 8 residents and have the option of assisting with decorations, providing gifts for all the residents or hosting a Christmas party for the residents.

  • You can also “adopt” an individual in need to provide gifts or an entire family or provide a special Christmas meal.  We can assist with having a meaningful hands-on experience during the Christmas season that will provide you with the unforgettable experience and true meaning of the holiday season !

  • If you are unable to sponsor a tree, we ask that you please consider making a financial donation to our Making a Difference at Christmas event; we will use all monetary donations to purchase gifts for individuals in need.
